In addition to his work as a teacher and consultant, Peter also maintains an active performing schedule as a soloist and a chamber musician, performing throughout the nation with various chamber groups and musical ensembles.

During his more than 40 years as a professional performer, Peter’s musical career has spanned the musical spectrum, from classical to jazz, traditional to modern. He has performed with European and American symphony orchestras, operas, ballets, Broadway productions, chamber groups, and music festivals. Peter has shared the stage with a wide variety of illustrious musicians, from legendary classical musicians such as cellist Mstislav Rostropovich to leading lights of contemporary music such as Dave Brubeck and Ella Fitzgerald.

Peter finds particular pleasure in performing at special events, both private and public, as well as with visiting musicians. He often performs at benefits and fundraising events throughout the country, offering special discounted rates to nonprofit organizations. “I like to share the beauty of music with all sorts of audiences,” he explains. “Performing in many different venues and for important causes allows me to show what can be accomplished through hard work and dedication.”
